About Severance

Severance is a Statutory Town in Weld County; located in the heart of Northern Colorado, approximately 10 miles east of Fort Collins, 7 miles north of Windsor and 10 miles northwest of Greeley.  The population is an estimated 8,500 friendly people.  Severance’s central location allows for easy access to all of Northern Colorado’s larger cities for both work and play.  The Severance  post office has been in operation since 1894.  Brings the old home town feel to the Northern Colorado area.

Severance offers numerous commercial options including bars/restaurants, personal service shops and salons, retail, automotive repair, real estate services, a bank, self-storage and child day care.
